first we cut out a large construction paper letter, and turn it into an item. a is for apple.
the second page of each letter group is a poem. we read it, and paste it into our book.
our third page is another poem, and a couple of pictures that go with it. we read this poem, and then ashley is supposed to find and color all of that letter in the poem. i then write the names of the small pictures underneath them so that they are associated.
our final page is finding and pasting letters and pictures from magazines. she needs to find at least 5 upper case, and 5 lower case letters, and 2 pictures.
michaels pages are simpler, and he only does the first two, with lots of help.

he got a different poem. but, on his, i have him find as many of that letter as he can.
