shannon did GREAT!
the nurses said she was the best 2-year-old patient they had ever had. we were home by dinnertime that night.
the only time she ever cried was when the pain medication wore off. for the first 2 days, i had to give it to her every 3 1/2 hours. if i waited any longer, it was not good.
while we were still in the hospital, she ate half my sandwich. and a yogurt nutrigrain bar. still struggling to get her to drink.
but, she is sleeping a little better!

YAY! I'm so glad she did so well. Hopefully she'll be a bit happier after recovery.
It's too bad she and Alex can't compare surgery notes... I can just imagine the stories they'd tell if they could. :)
