growing up, my family had the tradition of inviting friends over, and we would listen to dad read the forgotten carols.
in utah and idaho, they come and put on a play. tickets have been difficult for us to obtain.
this year, shaun surprised me with tickets.
true, they were clear up in the nosebleed section. true, we were late. true, i had absolutely no warning.
but, it was nice to see it in person anyways!

25th anniversary was special. It made me cry how Michael McLean ended the show. I made sure to have Nadia get a book or something. And then she was able to get the book signed!!! :) I also sneakily got her a music box which plays one of the songs.
